Conair is a name that has become synonymous with quality hair drying products over the years and this model hot air brush from them keeps with that tradition. It is a drying and styling tool that is very different from many others that we have reviewed over time thanks to is non-round brush design. That will help give you some pinpoint styling and drying accuracy when you want to get your hair done up quickly.
Quick Overview of this Hot Air Brush Product
Take a fast look at the good and bad things about this model hot air brush:
- Unique ½ round brush design
- Ionic technology for faster drying
- 2 heat settings and 1 no-heat setting
- Great for straightening your hair and making it shine
- Tourmaline ceramic technology/Infrared heat
- Harder to make curls with its brush design
- Instruction manual needs improvement
This Hot Air Brush’s Key Characteristics
It is a hot air hairbrush model that is very gentle on your hair follicles thanks to the tourmaline ceramic technology combined with the infrared heat system it uses. This method of drying tends to dry your hair follicles from the inside out and that helps to keep the drying process from damaging your hair with repeated use.
Also included in its design are two different heat settings you can use. It can also be used to style and dry your hair without using heat if you so choose.
The built-in ion technology is nice too. It allows you to dry your hair faster because it breaks the water particles in your hair down into smaller size ones that dry quicker. This also helps to control frizz.
The Best Feature of This Hot Air Brush Model
This is one of the more unique designs we have seen in hot air brush models. The reason for that is it does not feature a round barrel brush. The brush on this Infiniti Pro by Conair Wet / Dry Hot Air Styler only goes halfway around one side of this handy hair styling tool. That means you can do some different types of styling with it that can’t be done with a hot air brush with a round barrel brush design.
Its unique brush design is better for doing such things as detangling and straightening your hair. You can also do more detailed styling because the brush on this model hair styling tool does not grab as much hair because of the way it is configured. The smaller brush and the way it’s built even allow you to control the amount of tension you put on your hair as you style it.
Areas That Could Use Improvement with This Product
Although we really like the brush configuration on this hot air brush model it was not as good at doing some styling needs. It is perfect for making your hair straight and shiny but not to go if you are trying to curl your hair. That is because the half round brush style does not allow you to curl your hair around it as much.
Some users did not think the user’s manual made the instructions clear enough for the different things you can do with it. An example of this is there is a round knob at the top of it that turns but you cannot tell really what it does and the owner’s manual does not do a good job of explaining its function. Some improvement would be good here.
We had kind of mixed emotions about this hot air brush from Conair. For those of you that are looking for the best hot air brush that will leave your hair straighter, shinier and frizz-free you will love it. If you like to leave your hair with more volume and curls after you style it then this model hot air brush may not be to your liking.
Another thing we liked about this unique hair styling tool is the way the infrared heat and its ceramic disbursement system it uses to dry your hair are really gentle on it. It’s easy to use and has a nice lightweight feel to it also. It is definitely a hot air brush model worth considering if you are looking to buy a new one.
